Requires Expansion Pack: Yes Artist: Alex Lifeson of Rush Comments: I was messing around with one of the original 11R rigs "Toronto Tone" to tweak it and try to get a better sound for playing Rush's "Limelight", and I think I am ALLOT happier with this new rig. I am using an old Kramer guitar w/ Pearly Gates humbuckers (trying to stay close to the Super Strat that Alex used on 'Moving Pictures'). The rig is using the Treadplate Vintage amp with the Classic 30 cab (3.6 on the speaker breakup), Condenser 67 mic on axis, the White Boost pedal to kick in for solo's, Small Plate stereo reverb, and the original Graphic EQ setting that came on the 'Toronto Tone' rig. I'm pretty happy with it, so give it a try and tweak it to your rig's needs! Enjoy! Mike . |
