Pickup Position: Neck/Middle
Pickup Type: Single Coil
Requires Expansion Pack: Yes Artist: N/A Comments: This rig is an attempt to mimic the tones that Guitarrilia was getting in his youtube demos of the Joyo SweetBaby pedal. It is not exact, but I like the results. How to use it: The distortion block is used to mimic the Sweetbaby gain: max = 5, min = 0, mid = 2.5 to get similar gain levels to his videos. The volume knob can be used over full range. Treble/bass are left at defaults unless you want different tones. The FX1 block (para EQ) mimics the Sweetbaby focus knob. Page three has the freq set to 1.5 kHz. Somewhere between 1.2 to 1.5 sounds right to me. Vary the HM gain between -4.8 dB to +4.8 dB to get a similar response to the tones the focus knob seemed to give. Not exact, but a rig I like to use with a Tele! Thanks to Guitarrilia for such a great demo. |

Pickup Position: Bridge
Pickup Type: Humbucker
Requires Expansion Pack: Yes Artist: None Comments: Here's a crunch rock tone that cleans up really well. I used it from clean to crunch just by switching neck/bridge pickup or lowering guitar volume. Can work for rock or blues. It should do very good direct to PA because of Singtall renown para-eq I applied on it. |

Pickup Position: Neck
Pickup Type: Single Coil
Requires Expansion Pack: Yes Artist: Griff Hamlin Comments: Several of my students and fans asked me to share my presets that I use live. Probably 95% of the time I use this patch and add a Tube Screamer for more gain. I run direct into the board and monitor through in-ear-monitors. I've been running this way for about 18months to 2 years and really haven't changed this preset much at all in the last year. I use it with all pickup types (LP or Strat) but I might add a boost with a strat style pickup. I tend to run with pedals and not a MIDI rig, but you could easily use this with a MIDI controller and do what I do. I originally took somebody's patch of a Marshall Jubilee and tweaked it a lot. I don't remember who so I cannot give credit but I don't know that this really resembles that original patch anymore anyway. |

Pickup Position: Bridge
Pickup Type: Humbucker
Requires Expansion Pack: Yes Artist: Greg Howe Comments: This one's dead on! I actually made this jamming around to the new Van Halen (w/DLR for those who are looking at this in the future or living in the past lol) It sounds AWESOME with the new album, even though it's not the same kind of sound. I just ran into this on the way there and thought it was very Greg Howe-Introspection sounding so put "Jump Start" on and fine tuned it a little. This sounds so good over...anything. Do some legato, tapping, bar dives, VH style rock licks, it's awesome. I think it's a little smoother with the +cap off but this one feels a little better to my taste for more types of playing but for the legato stuff, it's a little smoother without the capacitor. |
