GLASS

Pickup Position: Neck Pickup Type: Humbucker
Requires Expansion Pack: Yes
Artist: Eric Glass
Author: TLTD
Comments: The goal here was to create a stacked Overdrive sound. I got a Lovepedal Superlead and noticed it is more of "glossy" preamp sound than an overdrive, didn't have the "tubiness" like in the demos with real amps but it became a different moster with a Tubescreamer going into it. I made this preset based on that, and trying to fix what I thought was still missing like harmonics and breakup. This is the very first version of the preset.

JUMP START LEAD

Pickup Position: Bridge Pickup Type: Humbucker
Requires Expansion Pack: Yes
Artist: Greg Howe
Author: TLTD
Comments: This one's dead on!

I actually made this jamming around to the new Van Halen (w/DLR for those who are looking at this in the future or living in the past lol)

It sounds AWESOME with the new album, even though it's not the same kind of sound. I just ran into this on the way there and thought it was very Greg Howe-Introspection sounding so put "Jump Start" on and fine tuned it a little.

This sounds so good over...anything. Do some legato, tapping, bar dives, VH style rock licks, it's awesome.

I think it's a little smoother with the +cap off but this one feels a little better to my taste for more types of playing but for the legato stuff, it's a little smoother without the capacitor.

SRV Cab+Mic

Pickup Position: Neck Pickup Type: Humbucker
Requires Expansion Pack: Yes
Artist: Stevie Ray Vaughn
Author: Singtall & TLTD
Comments: I've been going through the various cabs and mics seeing what sounds like what and there seems to me to be that one mic and cab that really work great together more than others, so I've been taking notes. I went ahead and finished this up but kept the name so you'd understand exactly what this was. I have a few more but haven't taken the time to dial the amps and do EQs. Worked on this with the Wolfgang in the neck position, but sounds cool on all pickups. Should cover a lot of different classic rock & blues. I think this might be THE tone I settle down with for some songs. It's one of those "finally something really good" tones. Seriously. I'll post a sample, it plays and sounds awesome. I recorded a take and EQ'd it in Cakewalk and went back and forth with speakers and headphones until it was just riht...added the second EQ so it's ready to go out of the box. Hope it sounds as good for everyone else, I love it. I would gig with it, if I had any gigs lol.

SRV

Pickup Position: Neck Pickup Type: Single Coil
Requires Expansion Pack: Yes
Artist: SRV
Author: Ross J Johnson
Comments: I based the preset on the tone from this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWLw7nozO_U

the preset as-is covers a bunch of that tone using the neck pickup (single coil). on occasion, SRV kicks in the tube screamer for a cocked wah plus boost tone...so i included that too.

echo is optional, but adds a cool vibe.

Excelsior Drive

Pickup Position: Bridge Pickup Type: Single Coil
Requires Expansion Pack: Yes
Artist: ian candler
Author: Ian Candler
Comments: My first attempt at modelling the new Fender Excelsior tube combo

Works in any pick up position

It's hard to model as its such a novel little amp with its 3 differently padded inputs, single volume and tremolo controls and a bright switch but I think this gets close to its tone when driven mildly.
