Requires Expansion Pack: No Artist: John Mayer Comments: This is a nice and versatile blues sound: '64 Lux Normal amp model, Spring Reverb, 2x12 Black Duo cab mic'd off-axis with Dyn 57. With singles, it is clean with maybe a bit of hair and some light reverb (just increase volume to about 8 for more hair.) To get John Mayer "Good Love Is On the Way," punch in the Green JRC OD pedal (off by default) and use middle pickup. Using Humbuckers (tested with SD Jazz/59) there is some nice wooley distortion on the neck position. Using the bridge, you can get pretty close to the Hollies "Long Cool Women (in a Black Dress)."
