Comments: Here's a stab per user request of Joe Bonamassa's Sloe Gin lead tone. Crazy thing with the Plexi is you can get SO many tones out of it. I suggest tweaking the following:

1) EQ
2) You can turn the "normal" gain up to get more of an overdriven amp tone which is more Eric Johnson'ish
3) You can turn the "high gain" up for more distortion and pick attack.
4) You can change microphones and on or off axis settings depending on how bright or dark you need depending on your guitar and pickups.
5) Reverb - change to large plate and maybe increase the mix for a slightly wetter tone.

I created this one with my old trusty Petrucci so I got it as close as my pickups would allow and playing along to the track, it sounds like at least a good starting point at least and if you play with your fingers ala Jeff Beck it sounds really nice and fat.

Below is a link to a sample mp3 I played this patch on so just ignore the slew of "bad" notes as it's all about showcasing the tone and not my blues chops - or rather lack thereof! :)

As always tweak to taste and enjoy!
