Requires Expansion Pack: Yes Artist: James Hetfield Comments: I found the amp settings for this presets on the net: http://www.freewebs.com/montyjay/jamesamps.html You can hear a short sample of the preset on Soundcloud: http://soundcloud.com/ralf_t/metal-recording-tone-i-demo For recording this sample (3 guitar tracks + two reverb tracks. I changed mics and cabs for the different tracks-) I kicked in the PEQ (FX2) and the reverb. For noodling with the preset I prefer the PEQ off, and the reverb either off or set to a mix level of about 3-5%. Experiment for yourself and tweak to your liking. |
