Requires Expansion Pack: No Artist: Dream Theater Comments: Here's a preset for the melodic intro lead in the Dream Theater song "Surrounded" from the Images and Words album. Heres a sample mp3 with the actual track panned hard left and the raw Eleven Rack track panned hard right. http://soundclick.com/share?songid=9473656 This preset will work for the entire song basically as the tone doesn't change nor does it appear to increase gain wise at any point. Fun song to play and definitely the simplest Dream Theater song to play which makes it even more fun :) Enjoy and as always - tweak away per taste. |

My guitar has a Mahongany body and played thru a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates. I did some research on Edge's tone and delay, which there is alot of apparently, and tweeked one of vaisatchatrucci's rigs to get this. Requires Expansion Pack: No Artist: U2 Comments: Ok so I did a U2 Bad preset a LONG time ago before I had my strat and have reworked it. It's a LITTLE cleaner than the actual track and has little more "shimmer" but it's closer to how the Edge sounds live now -vs- the original track so it's a bit of a hybrid but sounds really nice. You can pull the delay chorus back a bit if you don't want the shimmer and I also found that adding the blackop distortion with just a LITTLE gain sounds pretty cool too as opposed to increasing the gain on the amp which works too. Anyway - as usual here's an mp3 of the preset: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=1036380&songID=9483534 So ALSO you can take this same preset and change the delay setting to about 365ms and you then have a "Where the Streets Have No Name" preset that works really well for that song.
