Requires Expansion Pack: No Artist: Dream Theater Comments: Heres an Eleven Rack preset I did for the Dream Theater song "About to Crash (Reprise) from their "Inner Turbulence" CD (2002). The original track's guitar is a little brighter than mine and also compressed pretty heavily because it sounds like he's playing with a lot more gain than I use but it's close I think. Just a SHORT snippet of the intro which is just 2 nearly dry tracks doubled left and right no compression can be found here: http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=9846007 It's very similar to most of my Mesa presets, but seems to have a bit more body to it the way I EQ'd it this time so I think it's one of the better sounding ones so far in my opinion and its rare for me to enjoy an almost dry preset as much as I have this one - LOL :) Me likes lotsa delay :) LOL Created using my EBMM JP6 Dargie Delight II and the bridge pickup which is a DiMarzio Crunch Lab. As always, tweak to taste and have fun with it! |
