The mixer keeps me from having to use y-cables and such to get the vocals thru the EVs and gives a quality mic preamp and a good amount of control over the vocal channel including built in compression plus the bass, mid and treble controls, etc. It also let's me use the EVs as the mains for a room and use the Fishman off the PA as the monitor. Plus friends with smaller rigs can plug right in.

Thats cool! and for like $150? Thats a really decent mixer for the money and especially with all it has feature wise. Thanks for posting the photo too so I could get a sense of how big it is - looks like a perfect size to travel with - nice!

Definitely will be looking into one of those!

Thanks again mang!

No worries, consider it payback for all the good 11rack testing you've done. Around here people really seem to get a kick out of the fact that a mixer fits in my 11rack case, makes it nice to travel with and the setup is way pimp. Peace.

The Yamaha mixer also has an optional microphone stand mount if it doesn't fit in your rack.
