I just ordered a GSP2101 that I would like to use in the FX Loop of the 11R. Now, the 2101 has Stereo effects which I would love to use along with cabinet emulation on the 11R but I am perplexed as to how I would accomplish this. The unit isn't here yet so I am looking for info now so as to "hit the ground running"

I don't have my 11 here at the house, but I'm pretty sure one of the settings of the loop is for a mono send/stereo return.

So, 11r FX loop send to input of the Digitech, L/R returns to corresponding jacks on the 11r.

I had a GSP2101 for the longest time and only got rid of it after getting the 11 Rack. I must admit it was a little tricky to get it to play well with the 11 rack. I found that the the signal from the FX out from the GSP 2101 was not as high as the eleven rack would like (I tried rack and pedal modes and increasing the fx in/out from the 11 rack).

Eventually I found that if I took the Fx Out from the 11 rack to the input of the GSP2101 and the output of GSP2101 to FX in of 11 rack it was workable.

Thanks Rushian! That is exactly what I was looking for!

I know it sounds like you're trying to get the Eleven Rack cabinet sims and what not and should be a step up, but the Espi C would be a good idea to get if you want to have the latest Ownhammer cabinets available to your Digitech.

TLTD this is the 1980's GAP 2101 preamp/ effects unit long before ir's not the GSP1101. Still good info, I can highly recommend the EPSI and ownhammer ir's.

Oh wow, I was thinking it was one of those newer fangled ones.

Thanks guys, the epsi c is a great piece of gear. For the 11r, I am pretty set. I've gotten my tone down almost exactly to what I ha in my head.

The 2101 would definitely benefit from it so let's see in the future. For now, I'll use the 11r or lepou for my cabinet IRs.
