Ken2ak member Registered: 03/22/11 Posts: 13	After reading, Mitch Gallagher's letter, The legal aspect seems to be with Sweetwater and the Agreement Artists not with anyone else. If, a person buys a 11rack from S.W. and uploads those presets, S.W. could stop sending that person additional updates, etc. Just change the Name before Uploading it. . .if, you do. A sound that comes from a Eleven Rack or a Mesa Boogie or any amp can't really be own. The methhod to get that sound: software, Equipment, etc can be copyrighted. In this case, the eleven rack is copyrighted. Harley Davidson tried to copyright their motorcycle's sound, but it was laughed out of court. . .Now, every bike from Japan sounds just like a HD. I will just add this....... I could not wait for a few of these presets............But it was not worth the wait & these presets should be free for the most part........... The best thing about them is what you can learn from how they were built.......... The best presets/Rigs in my 11-Rack were created or started by users on this forum...........No joke.....Way better the 90% of these artist presets..... I do love the Steve Stevens presets, but I'm an uber fan & that's another story...... If you have a favorite player they might do something for you, but remember that the guitar & pickup each Rig was created on does make a HUGE difference.......
