I am using an 11r with a 27in iMac connected via usb. If I reboot the system with the Eleven Rack turned on the device shows up as connected and works just fine. However if I then turn the 11r off and end a session, and then turn it back on at a later point the device isn't recognized.

Has anyone seen this behavior / have a solution for this? I really hate rebooting just because of this. I also don't want to simply just leave the 11r on all the time.

When I shut turn the 11r off and leave the mac still on is when this happens. I have not tried unplugging usb, then plugging back in. Will give that a run.

When I saw the thread title I knew you're using a Mac. I have the same problems with my Macbook. Apparently the issue is related to the driver, and it's been mentioned/documented on DUC multiple times.

Nowadays any time I want to use my 11r with PT I restart my computer as a preventative measure... in attempts to prevent my frustration :P
